Fr Jenson Puthenveettil is a priest of the Diocese of Calicut and currently serves as the Head of the Department of Philosophy and director of human formation for students of philosophy at St Joseph’s Seminary, Mangalore. Fr Jenson was born on 25th April 1978 at Aluva, Kerala. After his seminary formation at Mangalore he was ordained priest for the diocese of Calicut on 19th April 2006 at Calicut. He obtained his Licentiate and Doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Urban University Rome in 2013. He wrote his thesis on the theme “The rationality of Christian Faith in the Works of Prof. Richard Swinburne”. He has worked in various capacities during the past years: Secretary to Bishop of Calicut (2006-2008), Liturgy Commission Secretary(2006-2008), Notary in Diocesan Marriage Tribunal(2006-2008), Parish Priest, Holy Redeemer Church, Marikunnu.
